Parent choice, flexibility, opportunities for alternative learning styles and teaching methods, lots of resources and support, and great co-workers, students and families!
Do (did) you homeschool your kids?
Yes I have always homeschooled my daughters.

Story of the World, Moving Beyond the Page, Essentials in Writing, Teaching Textbooks, Hollings Map & Story projects, Evan-Moor, BrainPOP, Discovery Education, Key to... Math booklets and iCivics.com.

"Alice in Wonderland" and "The Witches" on audio book

I've been on so many that it's difficult to decide. I love History so I'd probably choose a field trip to a historical sight. Pearl Harbir was one of my favorites. In Cal

A relaxing trip on a tropical island.

What do you like to do in your free time?
Swimming, snorkeling, hiking, bike riding, kayaking, travel, exploring museums and monuments, reading, attending theater & music performances, dancing and spending time with my children, family, friends and pets.
What is something interesting about yourself that many people might not know?
I love riding in helicopters because as a child my father flew helicopters and I flew with him a lot.
