Graduate Spotlight
Jacob

Jacob B. has been a South Sutter student since Kindergarten. He has had the opportunity to take amazing classes in an effort to find his strengths, talents, and passions, and has become an extraordinary writer and guitarist through this process. Jacob has excelled in his high school classes as well as all the classes he's taken through community college, even while holding down a job at the local pizza place. He earned his place as a member of the National Honor Society, and won first place in the IEM short story contest. He plans to complete his two-year degree and go on to a four-year college while continuing to pursue his passions. Ultimately, he would love to become a published author and professional musician. Jacob has thrived as a student and a person during his homeschooling journey and is grateful that it has allowed him the space and time to become who he is today. His family is extremely proud of this kind, respectful, hard-working young man that they have had the pleasure of spending their days with for the past 18 years.
